Google Chrome Favourite Manga Monster, One Piece, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter X Hunter, Death Note, SnK	As much as I love Gilgamesh in all of his Kingliness, I'm starting to get annoyed by his refusal to kill the mongrels. He could have easily killed Shirou twice now but he chose not to. He could have captured Rin twice too, apparently she was important to the original plan but he didn't do that either. The way he left in this episode was funny (the soot line was gold) but it was pretty cheap. I also liked the little moment when he found out that Kirei is dead. True bromance <3 Also I think it's kind of clear how Shirou is going to win now. He'll cast Unlimited Blade Works (which seems to be implied is his now with the whole changing as he ran thing), trap Gilgamesh inside and be able to counter Gate of Babylon that way (Archer was basically doing the exact same thing when he was firing swords at Shirou). Though if that does happen I'm calling BS, Shirou can only just summon two swords in his hands right now, if he can then start spamming them at the same rate as Gil all of a sudden...... Also lolShinji. That was satisfying.

Did he as Emiya not already defeat Archer and live on to become Archer? Did he just...forget? Kind of hard to get sense from it with no knowledge of this series grasp on time...linear universe or many parallels? Can't see how Gil won't win this time unless the Grail doesn't choose him or something... They're so f*ed. Well, maybe he has limited power having no master to draw from but he still beat Heracles so that's a stretch. They must all feel like the mongrels they are knowing had he not spared them they'd be very very dead. EDIT even if he does cast Unlimited Blade Works Gil still has Ea for an insta-kill. Guess he might not be able to use it though he probably has less mana than he used to. Still doesn't explain how they'll beat him his power is infinitely better than UBW. What became of Assassin? Nevermind just spoiled that for myself, sucks being a quick reader once you realize you need to stop it's too late... But yeah I love how he's just MIA this whole time. Maybe he'll do some assassiny s*** and catch Gil off guard....meh.

You do realize that Gilgamesh and Kirei have had about...I don't know...one scene together and for the most part Gilgamesh has been the one walking around doing King of Hero stuff while Kotomine has been pretty much off screen the entire anime? Sounds like Gilgamesh is holding his own pretty darn well.

Your opinion is your opinion man. Gilgamesh has been shown with Kirei like once this anime and he has been just fine. I've been excited with every entrance he has made here. Gilgamesh was also great in Zero before he even was partnered up with Kirei in the first place.

Probably a rage boost for Shirou or Saber will give him the last of her mana and even though there's no way that could support a copy of Ea that'll happen. Spoiler: click to toggle The Assassin thing felt like a waste of time he was in like 2 episodes did anyone particularly care? I suppose one thing they could do is piss off in to UBW leaving Gilgamesh to fight the...thing, maybe that could defeat him surely he doesn't have infinite mana. Or at least he could be tired out from it an Shirou could recover enough to have a slightly realistic chance of winning.

Spoiler: click to toggle I get the 'point' here about weapon mastery and shizz but...just no, Gil took on Heracles who was sensationally more powerful than Shirou should be so this fight makes little sense at all. Archer bit felt extremely asspull, come on he definitely died. This is the last episode of this season too isn't it? So we won't get an explanation for that. Though there's going to be an epilogue, perhaps there. Feels like they left out a lot from the visual novel. Good episode anyway animation an OST was fairly on point, felt a little rushed at the end but meh good series overall. Wonder how many more they'll do.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	There's still a bit more, an epilogue of sort though I'm surprised they're going to be adding in another full 23 minute episode to the mix. I mean things are pretty much done right now. Gilgamesh is defeated, The grail is destroyed, Archer passes away with content. Things have pretty much come to their conclusions so what more they're going to add beyond the epilogue I don't know. --- --- It's actually stated in the Visual Novel that one of the reasons Heracles is getting beat so easily is the fact that he's forced to protect Illya the entire time and take the full brunt of Gate of Babylon. Despite this, throughout the entire battle he slowly but surely trudges up to Gilgamesh. It then gets to the point where had Gilgamesh not used Enkidu, Berserker would've won. Add in the point where Gate of Babylon can practically counter God Hand (Heracles 12 lives) really puts Berserker had a great disadvantage. The Anime seems to play this part a bit different admittedly and the thing is, for spoilers for the first "Fate Route" Spoiler: click to toggle Even Archer, considered to be one of the weakest servants in terms of stats was able to kill Heracles several times without implying the use of Unlimited Blade Works. Compare that to Shirou who can now counter every one of Gilgamesh's blade, doesn't have to worry about anyone behind him and Gilgamesh has no weapons that specifically counter him. The only thing that can do anything is Ea which Gilgamesh is too hesitant to use due to his pride until its too late. He's also forcing Gilgamesh into a state of anxiety and he knows damn well that if Gilgamesh gets his cool, he's screwed. Edited by EMIYA, Jun 21 2015, 03:06 AM.

He couldn't even begin to copy Ea so how other weapons from similar times? Anyway watching epilogue episode and...are they together or not!? So annoying when that happens in a series, characters confess feelings for each other then it skips a while and they've either not taken it a step further after years for some reason or they have and it has to hide it, they don't seem much like a couple anyway just close friends. Weird. Good episode anyway, so this will presumably branch out to another series? I hope so but I hope it moves on to other characters a bit too, would definitely like to see some more of the non Japanese mages in the world. Also THAT's Waver? What the f*** happened to him!? He's so tall and manly, God damn...
